Welcome to Khadiza Dreams
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Khadiza Dreams website (the "Site") and the purchase of any products from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Khadiza Dreams is a small, independent studio based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Every piece we sell is handmade to order by our founder and maker, Razin. Because of that, some parts of this document will read differently from a large retailer's — please read them carefully.
Your account with us
You don't need an account to order — guest checkout is always available. If you choose to create one, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete information at signup and checkout.
- Keep your password secure and not share it with anyone.
- Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
- Take responsibility for any activity that happens under your account.
We may suspend or close any account that we reasonably believe is being used for fraud, abuse or to violate these Terms. Where possible, we'll tell you why.
When is my order accepted?
When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. This is not yet an acceptance of your order — it simply means we have your request.
A contract between you and Khadiza Dreams is formed only when:
- We confirm the order by email (usually within a few hours), and
- Payment has been received in full (for prepaid orders) or confirmed by our team (for cash on delivery).
Prices, taxes & payment
All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (৳) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but the price shown at the moment you place your order is the price that applies.
We accept the following payment methods:
- bKash and Nagad — for prepaid orders.
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) — processed through a secure third-party gateway.
- Cash on delivery — inside Dhaka only, with a ৳ 30 handling fee.
For card payments, we never see or store your card details. The gateway is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all sensitive data directly. We charge your card only after your order has been confirmed by our team.
If a payment fails, your order will not proceed. You'll be prompted to retry or choose another method.
Dispatch, delivery & risk
Because every piece is handmade to order, we ask for 2–4 working days before dispatch. After dispatch, delivery timelines depend on your location. Full details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery, as recorded by the courier's signature or tracking confirmation. If your parcel arrives damaged, please report it to us within 48 hours — see Returns & Exchange for how.
Returns, exchanges & refunds
We accept exchanges within 7 days of delivery on unworn pieces, in their original packaging. Because every piece is handmade, we don't offer cash refunds for change of mind — but we'll always offer an exchange or store credit.

Every piece is slightly different
Because everything is made by hand, small variations in colour, shape, finish and size are normal — and they're part of what makes each piece yours. Product photos on the Site are as accurate as we can make them, but no two handmade pieces are identical.
These natural variations are not considered defects. If you receive a piece you feel differs meaningfully from its description, however, please tell us — we'll always do what we can to make it right.
Our work belongs to us
All content on the Site — including designs, photographs, product descriptions, text, logos and the Khadiza Dreams name — is owned by or licensed to Khadiza Dreams and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce or redistribute our photographs or product descriptions for commercial purposes.
- Reproduce our designs for resale or mass production.
- Use our name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our written permission.
You're very welcome to share photos of your pieces on social media, tag us, or use our images in a personal blog post with credit. If you're a press outlet or influencer and would like to use our images, please reach out first.
Reviews, photos & messages
When you post a review, send us a photo, or tag us in a social media post, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on our Site and social channels. You keep ownership — we just have the right to show it off.
You agree that any content you share:
- Is your own, or you have permission to share it.
- Does not contain anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or infringing.
- Does not include other people's private information without their consent.
If you'd like us to remove content you've shared with us, just let us know and we'll take it down.
What we're responsible for
We take great care in making every piece and in running this Site. That said, we can't be held liable for:
- Allergic reactions to materials, except where required by law. If you have known sensitivities, please ask us about materials before ordering.
- Damage caused by improper care, accidents or normal wear after delivery.
- Delays caused by couriers, customs, weather or events outside our control.
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or products.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Which law applies
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from them will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence give you a different right.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in full force.
We may update these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, if we add new payment methods, change our shipping policy, or if the law changes. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
The Terms that apply to your order are the ones in effect at the time you placed that order. If you continue to use the Site after a change, you're accepting the updated Terms.
